Founded by former Tampa Bay Times prep sports writer Derek J. LaRiviere, North Suncoast Stats is a collection of the records set across Hernando and Pasco counties on the gridiron, court and diamond. These numbers were researched and collected for over a decade with the help of MaxPreps, Newspapers.com, the Times, and local coaches. The records are updated after each season and, depending on the event, periodically within each season. Tracing as far back as the early 1960s, statistics can be found for high school sports in the Tampa Bay area. With these numbers, we have put together a reference guide for any fan, player or coach to enjoy.
